I'm pretty much obsessed with series. Anybody that knows me knows this, and it's impossible not to see all about series on Beautiful Bookish Butterflies. I've talked about my relationship with series and marathoning series, my all time favourite series and saying goodbye to series, in fact, over 60% of my reads this year have been a part of series, and I love them so. There's no getting away from series when it comes to me, and I'm one of the few (it seems) readers who just can't stop lapping them up, so of course, I have a few firm favourites that aren't quote complete just yet, and I'm waiting extremely impatiently to finish them, and then attempt to let them go. Here's just five of those special series.

Although I'm an avid reader, and although I like to read, there are many books that fellow blogging friends have read that I will never read. It's not to say that these books are bad - god no, some of them sound fantastic, but it could be anything, from a time period it's set in, to the author maybe not hitting it off with me (through their writing of course, we hardly go out on dinner dates, I'm not that lucky people), but that doesn't stop me falling head over heals in love with their covers when they're not looking. I'm like a book pigeon, coo'ing at the pretty books, but who is also shooting way out of my comfort zone. In fact, I've been known to push myself into reading a book I had a feeling I wouldn't like, just to justify having the pretty cover, even if it was for a short amount of time.. I fall in love with book covers from books I will never read, it's an issue I have, like a sub-issue from my overall issue of loving book covers, and what better way to indorse such an issue than to showcase my favourites?

Putting books off. We all do it don't we? I know I (Amanda) do it an awful lot and it's a really bad habit that I just can't explain properly. Sometimes I like to avoid new releases because the bandwagon - you know, when you look at your feed and there's around 12 reviews of the same book on the same day, all saying the same thing, yeah, I like to avoid those, but I also tend to avoid popular books, because, you know, they're popular and that's scary.. What if you don't like it? What if people hate you? What if you get kicked out of the community and given your retirement card? Okay, kicked out might be a tad extreme, but it's a serious issue and means that all those books and series people constantly tell me I have to read kind of don't get read, for a looooooong time. However, there are books I grabbed by it's pages and yanked into bed with me for one crazy wild night of amazing, (That does sound a little saucy doesn't it?) that left me wondering why I'd waited so long. Today, myself and Stacie are going to talk about those books and why you really should read them too, minus all of the steamy scenes of course..
