I like the sound of how smart and funny it is along with the snippets in each of the characters' lives. I was a little worried that the whole thing would seem a little silly. I liked that there were so many characters and that they each felt like they had enough 'screen time' too, I think that is definitely a good skill from the author :)Amanda Grayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04357839391966441808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5523741214914719296.post-79852219487203889182014-04-28T09:04:32.940+01:002014-04-28T09:04:32.940+01:00Just noticed the name of that review ^^ that is ac...Just noticed the name of that review ^^ that is actually what I had called it....oops! Similarly I picked this up shortly after finally putting down a DNF that I was struggling with, so I think that may have biased me slightly because it is a very light and entertaining read. That being said, I was a little disappointed with it - I just thought more could be done with the idea for the story because I loved the idea so much, and I thought I could smell a sequel too. The other thing is I thought from the writing style it was directed more towards younger teens than young adult, but it was a decent "fluff" read, and we all need some of those!

http://confessionsofabookgeek.wordpress.com/2014/04/14/adaptation-2/confessionsofabookgeekhttp://confessionsofabookgeek.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5523741214914719296.post-73342225859595893342014-04-28T08:08:51.915+01:002014-04-28T08:08:51.915+01:00I reviewed this recently as well and really enjoye...I reviewed this recently as well and really enjoyed it! I can’t wait to read the heck out of the sequel if theres is one (I’m really hoping there is). I think my favourite part of the whole book was how there were so many characters but you got a story for each of them, BJ was one of my favourites. I was definitely on his side by the end.

Thanks for the great review!Katie McCuehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03061605624475014496noreply@blogger.com
