THE WORLD, main was that world amazing. How do people like Morpheus, he just- brought out all the bad feelings in me, cocky, frustrating, annoying, grr! I felt that way too, like she could have seriously developed Jeb into something amazing, but just cut him out, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! That spoiler though, my rage, my feels, everything bad, such a shame.. thank you though! :)Amanda Grayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04357839391966441808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5523741214914719296.post-41370986397696614342014-11-26T15:31:21.236+00:002014-11-26T15:31:21.236+00:00Thanks Ebony! I felt like it might have just been me that felt this way, but clearly not, which is nice in a way.Unhinged might be a game changer and I don't know if I'm ready for that, but nervous about it all personally, who knows? :)Amanda Grayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04357839391966441808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5523741214914719296.post-34000316181080793792014-11-20T14:45:28.337+00:002014-11-20T14:45:28.337+00:00Brilliant review. The world building truly was incredible, it was all just a little too weird and creepy for me. I tried explaining that in my review but it was really hard, haha. The love triangle aspect really bothered me. I liked Jeb and Alyssa together, so the introduction of the giant douche canoe that was Morpheus just really got under my skin. I wanted to swat him or grab some bug spray and go crazy. Jeb, I felt like Howard was trying to ruin my like for him over time so that I would come to like Morpheus. Not going to happen. He's ancient for one thing. What's with the obsession with having this ancient old guys falling for young girls. CREEPY. Brilliant review though and YES to your rage inducing moment. 1,000 times yes!Charnell @ Reviews from a Bookwormhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12694156080937232949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5523741214914719296.post-34230293003442505452014-11-20T04:32:14.652+00:002014-11-20T04:32:14.652+00:00Wonderful review, Amanda! While I loved the world-building and the storyline, once Morpheus was introduced and the love triangle just...didn't work, my feelings towards the book as a whole became rather flat. I don't get the love for Morpheus, but am hoping that by reading Unhinged, I will at least understand. I really liked Jeb at the beginning of Splintered, but he quickly became a character I felt indifferent towards.Ebony Ellishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14021781372843664797noreply@blogger.com
